Do you like dancing? Then why not come and give country dancing a try – it’s good exercise and fun. We do some modern dances, some square dances and some that you will recognise if you watch period dramas all danced to lovely music – either live or recorded.
The evenings are now lighter so it’s much nicer to go out. We meet on the first and third Mondays of each month unless a bank holiday disrupts the order. Dancing from 8 – 10 pm in the Harrison Room of the Old Barn Hall in Bookham we take a much needed break for a cup of tea, a biscuit (or two) and a chat during the evening. The cost is £3 for visitors with your first evening free. You can then continue to pay as a visitor or join for the year at £27. So it’s a very cheap evening for good company and dancing.
This year we are having a Summer Dance on July 18th – a Monday – with Barrie Bullimore calling and an American Supper. The cost will be just £3. Put it in your diary.
So why don’t you join us for an evening and give country dancing a try? We’d love to meet you.
